George Lois

Introduction George Lois (June 26, 1931 – November 18, 2022) was a American art director, designer, and author. Lois was perhaps best known for over 92 covers he designed for Esquire magazine from 1962 to 1973. Bronx, New York, U.S. A master of big ideas, George Lois has been a driving force in advertising and design for over six decades. His iconic campaigns and commitment to creative excellence continue to inspire marketers and designers worldwide.

- Created iconic campaigns for MTV, ESPN, and Nike

- Pioneered the concept of "big idea" advertising

- Founded Lois/USA and Lois/EJL advertising agencies
